Rental and Sublet Opportunities

The Housing Office maintains an online database containing hundreds of rental units offered by private landlords and real estate agents as well as apartment sublet opportunities in Harvard University Housing and in the private market. This database, available on the HRES Apartment Source Website, can be searched at no cost from any computer with access to the World Wide Web.

To add a listing to the database, click here and create a profile. Listings remain on the system for 90 days, unless you remove them earlier, and a $30 fee, using IPay, credit card, or debit card is required. You may also submit listings at the Harvard Housing Office and pay by check or money order.

Listings are ordinarily posted 30 to 60 days in advance of the move-in date.

Roommate Opportunites

The Housing Office also maintains the self-service HRES Roommate Center Web site, an online database of roommate and roommate sublet opportunities. Harvard affiliates may post and view roommate listings from any computer with access to the World Wide Web.
