Welcome to Howells Memorial House

Howells Memorial House is located in Kittery Point, Maine, about seventy miles north of Cambridge. It is situated on a two-acre promontory overlooking Portsmouth Harbor, with a stunning southerly view of three lighthouses.

The property is maintained as a memorial to the author and is administered by a five-member committee. The site is used for study conferences, retreats and recreation.
