Space Planning & Leasing Services
The Leasing team serves as a resource for the University community and as the agent for Harvard’s portfolio of commercial spaces. Our goals are to assist the University schools and affiliates identify and lease the optimal space to support their mission and to ensure that each commercial tenant is an integral and supporting participant in the local community.
The team provides the University community with services such as:
- Space planning – call us as soon as you know that there will be a change in your space needs. We will work together to identify various options that will meet your budgetary/time constraints and arrange tours of available space.
- Lease negotiation – if we are unable to find appropriate space within the University portfolio we will help you negotiate a fair market lease in a non-Harvard owned property.
- Sublease opportunities – when you have space that is not being used, we will assist you in finding another University group (or commercial tenant) in need of similar space.
