Property Management
The Property Management team is responsible for the overall operation of Harvard’s University and Commercial (U&C) real estate assets. The approximately 3.5 million square foot U&C portfolio is unique in that it contains a museum, three hotels, a book depository, three vacation homes, retail space, office buildings, and historic structures.
Under the direction of the Director of University and Commercial Real Estate and the Assistant Director for Property Management, property management teams are assigned to one of two zones. An operations manager and building operations technician lend their support across the board. The individual teams are responsible for the financial performance of the properties within their zone; the maintenance and repair of building systems; the structural integrity, safety and security of the properties; housekeeping; and overall occupant comfort.
